This is despite the fact that in South Africa and many other African countries, culture still allows for such to happen. As naturists, we find this limiting. Events where women are allowed to walk bare-breasted are allowed, provided such an event has been categorised as a cultural event. It is really not the case. Many people cower in their houses just to feel the breeze on their bare skin without the full exposure to the sunlight. In this video, however, we, as the Bare Bliss Naturists Group, have taken into our hands to educate the community about naturism by living as naturists without fear. We have moved to a remote rural area where nudity is acceptable but still carries a stigma of witchcraft. We know this is what they label us behind closed doors, but we intend to live as naturists to allow the community to accept us as we are. Miss Vee is cleaning our pool without worrying about what the neighbours will say. We also acknowledge that we have people passing close to our home and intend to expose naturism to them as well. Indeed, some have come to us and asked if we do not fear mob justice. To which we responded and gave them a short introduction to naturism. We have managed to find some naturists around who still cower but are naturists at heart. We intend to continue our lives as naturists to educate and set examples to the rest of the community. Naturism is not pornography; it is not witchcraft, and it is not taboo. It is consciously deciding to feel the kiss of the sun on our skins and a touch of wind, just for a little while.
